How Does Trenchless Sewer Repair Work?

Is your main sewer line backed up? Having the landscape of your home torn apart by ugly holes due to sewage problems is no longer an issue with trenchless sewer repair. This new technology requires little to no digging in your yard and offers a high-quality, seamless HDPE pipe to replace the old.

How does it work?

  1. The problem is first identified by a sewer camera. The professionals run a camera through the sewer’s main lines where they will be able to determine your specific sewage problem.
  2. Work is done on the sewer lines. At each end of the sewer line, two small holes will be dug in order to insert a cable that has a pneumatic jack on one end and a cone-shaped bursting head attached to the other side.
  3. The old pipe is replaced. As the bursting head is pulled through the sewer line, it will break apart the old pipe while pulling in the new, seamless pipe behind.

Not only is trenchless sewer repair cost effective, it also replaces the hassle that traditional methods tend to bring. No need to leave your home, or have a huge mess to clean after the professionals leave.
