ClearView Provides Free “Kitchen Help” To Brown Bagging For Calgary’s Kids

Every day, thousands of kids go hungry in Calgary, and this lack of nutrition leads to decreased concentration in school, reduced academic performance, and health problems.

Fortunately, there is one organization focused on dealing with this problem: Brown Bagging For Calgary’s Kids (BB4CK). BB4CK provides nutritional lunches daily for 1300 kids in Calgary’s schools and programs.

To fulfill their mission, BB4CK involves individuals and businesses from around Calgary, in a variety of ways, through their website, http://www.makeityourproblem.ca

Recently, when they needed special work done in their kitchen, ClearView donated $4,000 worth of plumbing services. Kyle Lumsden, president of ClearView, said, “Working with BB4CK is especially meaningful to us because we are in Calgary communities all the time, and we’re aware that there are many children in these communities who go hungry. So we decided to make it our problem.”

We salute BB4CK and encourage any who are interested in being a part of this important mission to go to http://www.makeityourproblem.ca.
